About NicoleDr. Nicole Schtupak, DMSc, PA-C, RDMS, is a clinician, educator, author, researcher, and advocate with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare. Her career has spanned emergency medicine, critical care, internal medicine, infectious disease, interventional radiology, clinical education, and leadership. She has mentored hundreds of future healthcare professionals and contributed to the medical literature through the publication of a rare infective endocarditis case.Her work is shaped not only by medicine, but by lived experience. From extraordinary beginnings to a career centered on service, education, and advocacy, Nicole has learned firsthand how profoundly perspective can change what we see, how we respond, and what becomes possible. Through The Phoenix Lens Method, she brings those worlds together—clinical reasoning, human experience, resilience, and reflection—to help others look beyond the obvious and uncover the thing behind the thing.
